Facebook the biggest social networking site. Now Facebook is now the world’s largest & most popular social networking site. According to a report from The Telegraph thousands of people around the world join these site every day. But among them significant number of the users are underaged children. They join by providing false information like age, gender, location, education etc.
For the safety of underaged children, Facebook made a age limit policy for the new users who wish to join this social network site. And as a result, the underage children can’t join this site, and thus they provide false information when they joined in Facebook.
Facebook banned almost 20,000 user ID every day. Among them most of the ID opened by children.
Facebook’s chief privacy adviser Mozelle Thompson said, “There are people who lie. There are people who are under 13. Facebook removes 20,000 people a day, people who are underage,” to the Australian Federal Parliament’s cyber safety committee. He also mentions that, Facebook works on all the time on these types of matter.
